Are we excited?

Well.... the time has come at last for us to be off on our adventure! After many long months of planning, preparing and (finally) packing, D(epature)day has arrived! When many others at school are heading off to 'wind down' after a busy term, we are all 'geared up' to pack as much as we can into the next 2 weeks. The first 'long haul' was the car trip to Sydney for an overnight stop at the Jobson's (senior) home before heading to the airport for the second 'long haul' part of our trip, the flight to Jakarta. Garuda entertained and fed us all the way, making the trip comparatively comfortable. For Nicola, the flight was her not only her first overseas, but her first ever!
