In retrospect....
There's a saying that goes.... "Hindsight is a wonderful thing" which really just means that when you look back over time, there are some things you know now that you wish you knew then. This blog is one of those things! Our school's journey with Indonesia began a number of years ago, with the introduction of teaching Indonesian language and culture to Year 7 students. In 2013 it took a new dimension with the development of a school partnership with SMP N1 Galur school in Yogyakarta. This has paved the way for creating and fostering relationships between staff and students of the two schools. After an initial visit to Australia (and Wagga Wagga) by Ibu Nusroh and Ibu Anik in May 2013, Mrs Anderson and Mrs Baldwin now have the opportunity to travel to Indonesia to return the visit.
